If Jesus Christ comes back in the next second to take all true believers out of the world, R U READY? . . . or will you be left behind to face the terrible things to come?
Getting ready is easy. You simply accept the gift of salvation. Gifts are free . . . you don’t earn them.
The first step to accepting your gift is realizing you need it. No one is good enough to go to heaven because everyone is born a sinner. The Bible says, “There is none righteous (good), no, not one.” (Romans 3:10) It also says, “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23) The end result of sin is spiritual death, being tormented forever in the “lake of fire.”
The second step is believing that Jesus Christ came to the earth as a baby to be sacrified on a cross in your place so that you don’t have to die spiritually and can live in heaven forever and ever. The Bible says He “gave himself for our sins.” (Galatians 1:4a)
Third step . . . ask Jesus Christ to forgive your sins, come into your heart, save you from eternal punishment, and change your life. The Bible says, “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved,” (Acts 16:31a) and “if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and will believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved.” (Romans 10:9).
If you pray this prayer and really mean it in your heart, God will save you and YOU WILL BE READY: Dear God, be merciful to me a sinner. I am sorry for my sins and now trust the Lord Jesus Christ to save me. I now take Him as my Lord and Saviour. I ask for eternal life that He paid for with His own blood. I pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
If you’ve prayed the above prayer, we encourage you to attend a Bible-believing church so that you can receive spiritual nourishment. We invite you to come and be a part of our church family.
